     A Good Death

What is a good death?

One without pain?

Or is it dying for a cause

to prove one lived not in vain?

Does a good death come after

a long, happy life?

A contented exhale of breath

without worry or strife?

Or is a good death defined

not by length or lack of pain?

But assurance of eternity

and life with Christ to be gained.
